  13. FOR THE FROSTING:

  14. 1/2 cup flaked sweetened coconut

  15. 1/2 cup chopped pecans

  16. 1/2 stick unsalted butter, softened

  17. 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

  18. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  19. 3/4 cup confectioners sugar

  20. Equipment: twelve (1/3- to 1/2-cup) muffin cups; 12 paper muffin cup liners
