  1. 1/4ts Salt

  2. 2 tb Honey

  3. 1 1/4lb Pork tenderloin

  4. 2 Shallots; diced

  5. 1 Garlic clove; minced

  6. 1 tb Bottled Chinese bean paste

  7. 1 1/2ts Hoisin sauce

  8. peeled and minced

  9. 1 1" piece gingerroot

  10. 1 tb White or rose wine

  11. 1/2ts MSG

  12. 1/4ts Sesame oil

  13. 1 1/2ts Oyster sauce

  14. 1 1/2tb Light soy sauce

  15. 1/4c Sugar

  16. 2 dr Red food color

  1. + Combine salt, sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, MSG, wine, gingerroot, hoisin sauce, bean paste, garlic and shallots in large bowl.

  2. Add pork, baste thoroughly and marinate 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

  3. Place pork on rack in roasting pan.

  4. Bake at 425F 15 minutes.

  5. Turn meat and bake 7 minutes longer.

  6. Remove pork and brush with honey mixed with food color.

  7. Return to oven 10 minutes, or until done.

  8. Cut meat crosswise into thin slices and serve hot or cold.
