  1. 1 cup 146g / 5.1oz Bread crumbs

  2. 1/4 cup 40g / 1.4oz Rice

  3. 1/4 cup 59ml Moong dal

  4. 1 cup 62g / 2 1/5oz Onion - minced (medium)

  5. 2 Green chiles - minced

  6. 1 Piec ginger - minced (small)

  7. 1 Cilantro leaves

  8. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Cumin seeds Salt - to taste

  1. Recipe Instructions In a bowl, cover the rice and dal with plenty of water and let soak for several hours. Drain, then grind to a fine paste. Add milk or water to make a thick batter. Stir in remaining ingredients. For each dosa, cook 2 tablespoons batter on hot greased skillet or griddle, spreading batter into thin circles and turning dosa once to brown both sides.
