    3. Garlic powder

    4. Tony Chachere's Cajun seasoning

    5. Handful chopped cilantro

    6. Juice of 1/2 lime

    7. 1/4 poblano pepper diced

    1. Pit and halve avocados and scoop out flesh into a mixing bowl. Mash avocados with a fork, leaving it still a bit chunky.

    2. Add remaining ingredients slowly tasting as you go. I usually end up using two parts salsa to one part garlic powder and one part Tony’s.

    3. At this point you can add the cilantro for a fresh taste, the lime to make it a little more authentic, and/or the poblano pepper for a little kick.
