  1. Leftover chopped turkey ham

  2. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Split peas

  3. 2 Thinly sliced carrots

  4. 1 Onion - chopped (medium)

  5. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Allspice

  6. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Pepper

  7. 1 Bay leaf

  1. Heat leftover ham, peas, carrots, onion and 7 cups of water in Dutch oven.

  2. Heat to boiling then reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 hours or until peas are soft. Remove bay leaf and serve.

  3. Makes 10 1-cup servings.
