  1. 1 tablespoon olive oil Lemon pepper to taste Salt and pepper to taste

  2. 1 clove garlic, chopped

  3. 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese

  4. 10 spears fresh asparagus

  5. 1 tablespoon crushed whole wheat crackers

  6. 1/4 cup sliced onion

  7. 2 tablespoons white wine

  1. Heat the oil in a skillet over a moderate heat. Add in the onion, garlic, salt, pepper and lemon pepper. Cook till tender. Tip in the asparagus and cook for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally so that it gets evenly coated with the seasoning. Sprinkle the wine into the skillet, mix and take off fire. Transfer the asparagus to a serving dish. Drizzle the leftover mixture from the skillet onto the asparagus. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and whole wheat crackers.
