  5. 5 cups chicken broth

  6. 3 cups milk

  7. 1 teaspoon celery seeds

  8. 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh thyme -- chopped Salt Freshly-ground black pepper

  9. 1 cup grated cheddar cheese

  10. 1 cup celery leaves -- coarsely chopped For the bacon - selecta thick-sliced country-style peppered bacon. In a large skillet fry the bacon until crisp.
