  1. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Beef top round steak - cut 1 inch thick

  2. 1/4 cup 59ml A-1¨ steak sauce

  3. 2 tablespoons 30ml Vegetable oil

  4. 1 teaspoon 5ml Cracked black pepper

  5. 2 Garlic - crushed

  1. Combine steak sauce, oil, pepper and garlic. Place steak in bag; add marinade, turning to coat.

  2. Close bag securely and marinade in refrigerator for at least 1 hour, turning once.

  3. Remove steak from marinade; place steak on broiler in broiler pan so surface of meat is 3-4 inches from heat.

  4. Broil or grill 15 to 18 minutes to desired doneness (rare to medium rare) turning once.

  5. NOTES : We have grilled this recipe with same success.
