  1. 1 cup Pace® Picante Sauce

  2. 1/2 cup apricot jam or preserves

  3. 2 tablespoon soy sauce

  4. 2 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger root or 2 teaspoons ground ginger

  5. Hot cooked egg rolls , dumplings or won tons

  1. Heat the picante sauce, jam, soy sauce and ginger root in a 1-quart saucepan over medium heat to a boil , stirring often. Reduce the heat to low. Cook and stir for 3 minutes or until the mixture is reduced to a glaze . Serve warm with the egg rolls for dipping.

  2. Recipe Note: This sauce is also delicious for basting grilled chicken . Make sure to discard any remaining sauce after basting the chicken.
