  1. 3 cups all-purpose flour

  2. 2 cups sugar

  3. 1 teaspoon each baking powder, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon and nutmeg

  4. 4 eggs, lightly beaten

  5. 1-1/3 cups vegetable oil

  6. 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  7. 1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained

  8. 2 cups mashed ripe bananas (3 to 4 medium)

  9. 1-1/2 cups chopped walnuts

  10. Confectioners' sugar

  1. Banana Nut Cake Recipe photo by Taste of Home In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Beat in the eggs, oil and vanilla. Fold in pineapple, bananas and nuts.

  2. Pour into a well-greased 10-in. tube pan. Bake at 350° for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Dust with confectioners' sugar. Yield: 12-16 servings.
