  1. 1/3 kilo beef sirloin /tenderloin, cut into strips

  2. 2 teaspoons cornstarch

  3. 3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce

  4. 4 teaspoons olive oil

  5. 1 cup fresh baby corn , boiled

  6. 1/4 cup carrots

  7. 1/4 cup green beans , blanched

  1. In a bowl, mix together the cornstarch, teriyaki sauce, and 2 tablespoons olive oil. Mix well.

  2. Stir in the beef and marinate in the refrigerator for 45-60 minutes.

  3. Chop baby corns in 1-2 inches long pieces. Set aside.

  4. Chop carrots in small cubes. Set aside.

  5. Chop green beans in 1-2 inches long pieces. Set aside.

  6. Add 1 teaspoon of salt in a pan of water. Put in corns, carrots and green beans and boil for 5-7 minutes. See Photo 7. Transfer vegetables in another pan. Stir-fry carrots, green beans, and baby corn in the remaining olive oil for about 3 minutes. Remove from the pan.

  7. Stir-fry marinated beef until medium done See Photo . Stir in the vegetables and cook until the beef is done.

  8. Set the stir-friend vegetables and beef on top of steamed rice if desired.
