  1. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Onion salt

  2. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  3. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Freshly-ground black pepper

  4. 3 tablespoons 45ml Flour

  5. 4 Venison chops or steaks

  6. 1 1/2 to 2 lbs total

  7. 4 tablespoons 60ml Oil

  8. 1/2 cup 118ml Ketchup

  9. 1/2 cup 118ml Vinegar

  10. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Garlic salt

  11. 1 teaspoon 5ml Liquid Smoke

  12. 1 tablespoon 15ml Worcestershire sauce

  13. 1 Tabasco sauce

  1. In a small, shallow bowl, mix together onion salt, salt, pepper and flour. Dip chops or steaks in mixture and coat on all sides. Fry meat in oil until brown.

  2. Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Pour over browned meat and simmer until meat is tender -- about 1 1/2 hours.
