  1. 1/3 cup 78ml Vegetable oil

  2. 1/3 cup 53g / 1.9oz Brown sugar - packed

  3. 1/4 cup 59ml Molasses

  4. 6 oz 170g Frozen orange juice concentrate

  5. 2 cups 125g / 4.4oz Flour - whole wheat or all-p

  6. 1 teaspoon 5ml Baking soda

  7. 1 teaspoon 5ml Ground cinnamon

  8. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Ground ginger

  9. 1/2 cup 31g / 1.1oz Rolled oats

  10. 1/2 cup 80g / 2.8oz Raisins - chopped

  11. 1/2 cup 73g / 2.6oz Dried apricots - chopped

  12. 1/2 cup 55g / 1.9oz Sunflower seeds

  13. 1/2 cup 118ml Wheat germ

  14. 2 tablespoons 30ml Sesame seeds

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. Cream the oil, brown sugar, and molasses together in a bowl. Add the defrosted unsweetened orange juice concentrate.

  3. Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and ginger. Blend into the creamed mixture.

  4. Stir in the oats, raisins, apricots, sunflower seeds, wheat germ, and sesame seeds. This makes a very stiff batter.

  5. Spread in a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake about 20-30 minutes or until light brown. Cut into bars. These are more like a dense cake than commercial granola bars.
