  1. 11/3 cups whole wheat flour

  2. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  3. 1/2 teaspoon honey

  4. 1/2 cup honey

  5. 1/3 cup oil

  6. 2 egg s, beaten

  7. 1 cup mashed banana s (about 3)

  8. 1/4 cup hot water

  9. 1/2 cup chopped pecan s or walnuts

  1. Sift dry ingredients together. Cream oil and honey in a large bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in bananas. Add dry ingredients alternating with hot water, mixing after each addition. Fold in pecans. Pour into greased 5x9 loaf pan. Bake at 325 for 55-60 minutes. Invert onto a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
