  1. Crust

  2. 1 Oreo cookies - freshly

  3. 2 tablespoons 30ml Amaretto

  4. 1 tablespoon 15ml Hazelnuts

  5. Filling

  6. 1/2 Freshly whipped cream

  7. 1 teaspoon 5ml Cocoa

  8. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Cream of tartar

  9. 1 cup 198g / 7oz Melted butter

  10. 2 cups 396g / 13oz Super-fine sugar

  11. 8 Eggs at room temp. - beaten

  12. 1/2 cup 118ml Amaretto

  13. Topping

  14. 2 cups 474ml Freshly whipped cream

  15. 1/4 cup 49g / 1.7oz Melted butter

  16. 1/4 cup 27g / 1oz Cocoa

  17. Sugar

  1. CRUST: Mix all ingredients. Form like a dough and put into a Springform pan, about 1/4" thick around the bottom and sides. Put aside.

  2. FILLING: Mix all ingredients. Put the filling into the crust and refrigerate for 24 hours.

  3. After refrigeration: Bake 1/2 hour at a very low temperature - about 225F.

  4. A too-hot oven will result in "mush." TOPPING: Fold butter and cocoa into cream. Sweeten with sugar to taste.

  5. Top the pie. Serve at room temperature or slightly cooler.
