  1. Key Lime Pie

  2. 40 vanilla wafers

  3. 1 cup slivered almonds

  4. 1/3 cup real butter, melted

  5. 6 oz. cream cheese, softened

  6. 1/4 cup real butter, softened

  7. 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk

  8. 1/3 cup lime juice (preferably from Key limes!)

  9. Chop wafers and almonds together. Add melted butter and stir well.

  10. Press into a pie plate, covering bottom and sides. Bake at 350

  11. degrees F for 10 minutes or until light brown. Cool. Cream cream

  12. cheese and remaining butter together, until fluffy. Add sweetened

  13. condensed milk and lime juice. Mix well. Pour into pie shell and cover with plastic wrap, refrigerate 4 hours. Garnish with whipped

  14. cream and lime wedges if desired.
