  1. 4 lbs 1816g / 64oz Cooking apples

  2. 2 cups 474ml Cider

  3. 3 cups 594g / 20oz Granulated sugar

  4. 2 teaspoons 10ml Ground cinnamon

  5. 1 teaspoon 5ml Ground cloves

  6. 1/8 teaspoon 0.6ml Ground allspice

  1. Stem and quarter apples; do not peel. Cook apples and cider, covered, in crock pot on LOW for 10 hours. Add sugar and spices and continue cooking for 1 hour.

  2. Pour into hot sterilized jars. Store in a cool dry place. Or, pour into freezer containers and freeze.

  3. This recipe yields 10 six-ounce jars.
