  1. 5 c. flour

  2. 2 1/2 tsp. salt

  3. 1 lb. shortening

  4. Cold water

  5. 1 egg

  6. White vinegar

  1. Cut shortening through flour until small pea side and shape. Break 1 egg in a 1 cup measure. Add enough vinegar to equal egg. Add enough cold water to measure one cup. Add liquid to flour. Roll to a ball. Can be used immediately or it freezes well. Make 2 double crusted pies and 1 single crust pie.
