  1. 2 21-ounce cans apple pie filling

  2. 1 lemon

  3. 1 tsp cinnamon

  4. 1 package plain yellow cake mix

  5. 1 cup chopped walnut s

  6. 1 cup butter , melted

  1. Spoon apple pie filling evenly into ungreased 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Grate rind from lemon, sprinkle over filling, cut lemon in half, drizzle juice over filling. Sprinkle with half cinnamon. Pour dry cake mix evenly over apples so it reaches all sides of pan. Sprinkle rest of cinnamon over cake mix. Sprinkle nuts over top, then butter. Bake 55 minutes in 350 degree preheated oven.

  2. Cool for 10 minutes.
