  2. 1 Loaf French bread cut into 1 inch slices

  3. 8 Eggs (large)

  4. 3 cups 711ml Milk

  5. 4 teaspoons 20ml Sugar

  6. 1/3 teaspoon 1.7ml Salt

  7. 1 tablespoon 15ml Vanilla

  1. Grease 9 x 13 baking pan with butter. Arrange bread slices in one layer in pan. Beat remaining ingredients and pour over bread.

  2. Cover an refrigerate overnight.

  3. To bake: Preheat oven to 350F. Remove cover, dot with butter. sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

  4. Bake in preheated oven 350F for 45-50 minutes or until bread is bubbly and lightly browned. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes.

  5. Serve with syrup, yogurt of sour cream and fresh fruit.
