  1. 1/2 c Shortening

  2. 1/2 c Butter

  3. 1 2/3 c Granulated sugar

  4. 3/4 c Brown sugar; packed

  7. 1 tb Vanilla extract

  8. 2 3/4 c Flour

  9. 1 ts Baking soda

  10. 1 ts Baking powder

  11. 1 ts Salt

  12. 1 c Chopped macadamia nuts

  13. 1 c White chocolate chips

  14. 9-5-96 Cream together shortening, butter and granulated and brown sugars by beating in bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, water and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt and add to creamed mixture. Add nuts and mix thoroughly. Add white chocolate chips and mix by hand. Drop batter by rounded tablespoons onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at
