  1. 1 can refrigerated crescent roll s

  2. 1 lbs sausage (hot if you like)

  3. 2 C cheddar cheese

  1. Mix sausage and cheese in separate bowl. Set aside.

  2. Flour working surface. Roll out ½ crescent dough and seal the diagonal seam. Spread sausage and cheese mixture evenly over dough, saving ½.

  3. Roll into a log lengthwise and wrap in foil. Repeat with remaining halves of the mixture and crescent dough.

  4. Refrigerate or freeze until firm enough to slice easily.

  5. Unwrap, slice medallions and place on a parchment paper covered cookie sheet.

  6. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes until golden bubbly.
