  6. 6 oz Semisweet chocolate morsels

  7. 1/2 c Bourbon

  8. 3 tb Light corn syrup

  9. 2 1/2 c Vanilla wafer crumbs

  10. 1/2 c Sifted powdered sugar

  11. 1 c Pecans; finely chopped

  12. Powdered sugar

  13. Melt chocolate morsels in top of double boiler or in

  14. microwave. When smoothly melted, remove from heat and stir in bourbon and corn syrup. Set aside. Combine

  15. crumbs, powdered sugar and pecans. Mix well. Stir into 30 minutes. Shape into 1 balls. Roll in sugar. Store in an airtight container

  16. in refrigerator. Yield: about 5 dozen. Got this from

  17. December '84 issue of Southern Living magazine. These

  18. are wonderful--now a holiday tradition at our house!

  19. You can substitute english walnuts for the pecans. You

  20. can also use rum instead of bourbon. I have tried

  21. several combinations, but find the original the best

  22. to my taste.
