  5. 1/2 c Margarine; softened

  6. 1 c Peanut butter

  7. 1 c Sugar

  8. 2 Eggs

  9. 1 ts Vanilla

  10. 1 1/2 c Flour

  11. 1/4 ts Baking soda

  12. 1 ts Baking powder

  13. 1/4 ts Salt

  14. Frosting--

  15. 1/2 c Peanut butter

  16. 1 1/2 c Powdered sugar

  17. 2 ts Vanilla

  18. 2/3 c Peanut butter

  19. In a large bowl, using a mixer, cream butter and peanut butter with sugar

  20. until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Stir in the

  21. vanilla.

  22. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Gradually blend into creamed mixture. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie

  23. 375 F. for 10 minutes. Cool. Spread with the frosting. Makes

  24. 3 dozen cookies.

  25. Frosting Melt margarine. Remove from heat. Beat in the sugar and vanilla.

  26. Mix well. Stir in the peanut butter. If the mixture becomes too thick, add

  27. milk or water to give it a spreading consistency. From the Ultimate Peanut
