  1. 1 lb box of oreos

  2. 1/4-1/2 C margarine

  3. 1/2 gal. of vanilla ice cream jar of chocolate fudge syrup cool whip

  1. Remove ice cream from freezer. Melt margarine in small pan. Place oreos in bag, add margarine. Seal bag and crush cookie mixture into fine powder like pieces. Spread cookie mixture into 9 x 13 in. pan. Once ice cream is spreadable, spread it over the cookie base evenly. Add the syrup on top of ice cream layer, warming syrup if needed to spread evenly as well. Add cool whip to the top layer. Cover and freeze until serving time. May need to remove 10 min. before serving to help slice. Yield: serves 15
