  1. Tomato Pudding

  2. 6 to 8 servings.

  3. 1 quart stewed tomatoes

  4. 2 large biscuits or 2 thick slices of bread, day old

  5. sugar to taste

  6. salt and pepper to taste

  7. 2 Tbsp butter or margarine

  8. Season home made stewed or can stewed tomatoes to your liking.

  9. (basil, garlic etc.) Pour into mixing bowl. Crumbled the biscuits

  10. or bread into tomatoes. Add sugar, salt and pepper to taste if

  11. needed. Pour mixture into an 8 x 8 inch pan. Dot top with butter

  12. 350F about 50 minutes or until tomatoes bubble

  13. around edges. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
