  6. 2 lb Raisins

  7. 4 oz Chopped Almonds

  8. 12 oz Breadcrumbs

  9. 8 Eggs

  10. 4 oz Mixed peel

  11. 12 oz Suet

  12. Guiness, brandy or rum

  13. or replace suet with butter or margarine if prefered.

  14. Stir raisins, fat, peel, almond and breadcrumbs,

  15. followed by beaten eggs and alcohol.

  16. Leave for a few days - then steam for 6 hours. Keep

  17. wrapped in foil. steam for a further 2 hours on day of
