  2. 3 eggs

  3. 3 tablespoons cold water

  4. 1 cup flour

  5. 1 teaspoon baking powder

  6. 1/3 teaspoon salt

  7. Lemon sauce :

  8. Grated rind and juice of 1 lemon

  9. 1 cup granulated sugar

  10. 3 tablespoons flour

  11. 2 tablespoons butter

  12. Salt

  13. 1 egg

  14. 1 cup hot water

  1. Beat eggs and sugar until thick.

  2. Add water, then flour, baking powder and salt, sifted together.

  3. Line cookie sheet with wax paper and rub with oil, then flour.

  4. Pour in batter.

  5. Bake at 425 degrees F for 12 to 15 minutes.

  6. Turn onto cloth on which you have sifted confectioners sugar.

  7. Trim edges and spread with jelly or lemon sauce and roll in cloth.

  8. Lemon sauce :Cook ingredients until thick. Cool. This is enough for two jelly rolls. Will keep in refrigerator.
