  1. 1 large egg yolk

  2. 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

  3. 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger

  4. 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic

  5. 1/2 teaspoon minced green onions

  6. 1 cup vegetable oil

  7. 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  8. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro leaves

  9. 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper

  10. 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

  11. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  1. Combine the egg yolk, lemon juice, ginger, garlic, and green onions in a food processor and process for 15 seconds. With the motor running, slowly add the vegetable oil through the feed tube. The mixture will thicken. Add the soy sauce, cilantro, pepper, sesame oil, and salt. Pulse once or twice to blend. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for no more than 24 hours before using.
