  1. 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans low-sodium stewed tomatoes

  2. 1 (6oz.) can low-sodium tomato paste

  3. 1/2 c. coarsely chopped onion

  4. 1 tsp. dried oregano, crushed

  5. 1 tsp. dried basil, crushed

  6. 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper

  7. 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

  8. 1/4 tsp. dried thyme

  9. 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen peeled and deveined shrimp

  10. 1/2 c. chopped green pepper

  11. Hot cooked spaghetti

  1. Combine undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, onion, oregano, basil, red pepper, garlic powder and thyme. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cook, uncovered, over medium-low heat 10 minutes or until mixture thickens slightly, stirring occasionally. Add shrimp and green pepper; cook, uncovered, 10 minutes or until shrimp are no longer pink, stirring occasionally. Serve over spaghetti. Serves 6.
