  1. 2/3 cup cocoa

  2. 3 cups sugar

  3. 1/8 teaspoon salt

  4. 1 1/2 cups milk

  5. 4 1/2 tablespoons butter

  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla

  1. Preparation : Combine cocoa with sugar and salt. Add milk; bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Cook to 232 degrees, or until soft ball stage when dropped in cold water. Remove from heat; drop in butter. Cool to lukewarm. Add vanilla and beat until mixture thickens. Pour into buttered pan and cut in squares when cool.
