  2. 50g butter

  3. 3 tbsp flaked almonds

  4. 1 garlic clove , halved

  1. Boil or steam the green beans until tender. Heat the butter in a frying pan, add the almonds and garlic and season. Cook until the almonds are golden and the butter is nutty. Discard the garlic, add the beans and toss.

  2. Make it ahead To get ahead, you can cook the beans, rinse them in cold water, then reheat in the almond butter.
