  2. 1 cup butter

  3. 1/3 cup cocoa

  4. 2 cups sugar

  5. 1 1/2 cups flour

  6. 4 eggs

  7. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  8. 1 12 oz jar chunky peanut butter

  10. 1/2 cup butter

  11. 1/4 cup cocoa

  12. 1/3 cup milk

  13. 10 large marshmallows

  14. 1 pound powdered sugar -- sifted

  1. Combine butter and cocoa in a saucepan. Stir over low heat until butter melts. Cool slightly. Combine sugar, flour, and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a large bowl. Add chocolate mixture and beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until blended. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.

  2. Spread into a well-greased, 9x13-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

  3. Remove lid from peanut butter jar and microwave on medium setting for 2 or 3 minutes or until peanut butter melts, stirring at 1 minute intervals. Spread over warm brownies. Chill 30 minutes or until set.

  4. For the frosting: Combine butter, cocoa, milk and marshmallows in a saucepan. Stir over medium heat until marshmallows melt. Remove from heat and stir in powdered sugar until smooth. Spread over peanut butter and chill until set. Store in refrigerator.
