  2. 1 cup uncooked rice

  3. 1 cup cooked or canned whole kernel corn Salt and pepper to taste

  5. 15 ounce can, tomato sauce

  6. 3/4 cup water

  7. 1/2 cup finely chopped onion

  8. 1/2 cup chopped green pepper

  9. 1 cup cooked or canned green beans

  10. 3/4 pound ground beef

  11. 4 slices bacon, cut up

  1. Put rice and corn in baking pan or dish.

  2. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  3. Mix tomato sauce and water.

  4. Pour half over corn and rice.

  5. Add layers of onion, green pepper, green beans and beef.

  6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  7. Add rest of tomato mixture.

  8. Top with bacon.

  9. Cover tightly.

  10. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.

  11. Uncover. Cook 30 minutes more.
