  2. 1/2 cup 99g / 3 1/2oz Shortening

  3. 1/3 cup 65g / 2 1/3oz Peanut butter - crunchy

  4. 1 teaspoon 5ml Vanilla

  5. 1 Egg

  6. 2 1/4 cups 140g / 4.9oz Flour - all purpose

  7. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  8. 1 cup 110g / 3.9oz Chocolate chips - semisweet

  9. 1/2 cup 99g / 3 1/2oz Peanut butter - crunchy

  10. 1 1/2 cups 93g / 3 1/3oz Corn flakes - slightly crushed

  1. Recipe Instructions Preheat oven to 350F. In large bowl, combine all cookie ingredients except flour and salt; blend well. Stir in flour and salt; mix well. Press dough into ungreased square cake pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes until lightly golden brown. Cool slightly. In medium saucepan, melt chocolate chips over low heat. Stir in 1/2 cup peanut butter and corn flakes. Spread over slightly cooled base. Cool slightly and cut into bars.
