  1. 4oz oats (preferably large)

  2. 4oz golden syrup

  3. 2oz black treacle

  4. 4oz butter/margarine

  5. 4oz brown sugar

  1. Weigh all the ingredients. preheat the oven.

  2. add the butter, syrup, treacle and sugar to a pan and put over the hob on a high heat till the butter is melted 3. add the oats and turn the heat to simmer. stir alot.

  3. tip the mixture into a tin. any flat tin will do.

  4. put into the oven for about 30 minutes 6. enjoy!!! they also go well with vanilla ice cream or yoghurt if you want to be healthy!!
