  1. 420 g can garbanzo beans, drained

  2. 4 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped

  3. 3 tbsp. tahini

  4. 1 1/2 tbsp. olive oil

  5. 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

  6. 1/4 tsp. salt

  7. crackers or pita wedges

  1. Combine the garbanzo beans, garlic, tahini, oil, lemon juice and salt in a food processor and blend until smooth, scraping down the bowl frequently. Spoon the hummus into a bowl and cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with crackers or pita wedges.
