  2. CHICKEN AND RICE DINNER**

  7. 2 pounds To 3 lb broiler/fryer -- chicken, cut up

  8. 1/4 cup (to 1/3 cup) flour

  9. 2 tablespoons Oil

  10. 1 1/2 cups Long grain rice

  11. 1 teaspoon Poultry seasoning

  12. 1 teaspoon Salt

  13. 1/2 teaspoon Pepper

  14. 1 cup Milk

  15. 2 1/3 cups Water

  16. Chopped fresh parsley Dredge chicken pieces in flour. In a skillet, heat oil on medium and brown

  17. chicken on all sides.

  18. Meanwhile, combine rice, poultry seasoning, salt, pepper, milk and water. Pour

  19. into a greased 13x9x2 baking pan. Top with chicken. Cover tightly with foil

  20. 350 degrees for 55 minutes or until rice and chicken are tender.

  21. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
