  3. 1/2 cup 118ml Shelled fresh green peas -

  4. 1/2 lb in 2 teaspoons 10ml Sesame seeds

  5. 1 tablespoon 15ml Rice vinegar

  6. 1 tablespoon 15ml Asian sesame oil

  7. 1/2 tablespoon 7 1/2ml Light brown sugar - (packed) - or more to taste

  8. 2 teaspoons 10ml Soy sauce

  9. 6 cups 1422ml Pea shoots

  1. Recipe Instructions In a kettle of boiling salted water cook sugar snap peas 2 minutes. Add snow peas and green peas and cook 1 minute. Drain peas in a colander and rinse under cold water. Pat peas dry between paper towels. In a dry small skillet toast sesame seeds over moderate heat, stirring, until golden. In a small bowl whisk together sesame seeds, vinegar, oil, brown sugar, and soy sauce until sugar is dissolved. In a bowl toss pea shoots and peas with dressing. This recipe yields 4 servings.
