  6. 2 1/4 pounds lean ground beef

  7. 1/3 cup instant minced onion

  8. 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  9. 4 teaspoons salt

  10. 3/8 teaspoon red pepper -- crushed

  11. 1 tablespoon oregano

  12. 3 tablespoons parsley flakes

  13. 18 ounces tomato paste --

  14. 3 (6-oz) cans

  15. 24 ounces tomato sauce --

  16. 3 (8-oz) cans

  17. 2 1/4 cups hot water

  18. 3 large eggs -- beaten

  19. 3 pounds ricotta cheese

  20. 1 pound lasagna noodles -- cooked, (18 noodles)

  21. 12 ounces mozzarella cheese -- shredded

  22. 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese

  23. Line four 8x8x2-inch baking pans with heat-resistant freezer wrap. Allow

  24. enough extra wrap to fold over top. Use one pan for each six servings or one-fourth of the recipe. Do not line pans for food to be served without

  25. freezing.

  26. Crumble beef; cook until lightly browned. Stir in onion. Cook until onion

  27. is tender. Drain off fat. Stir in seasonings, tomato paste, tomato sauce,

  28. and water. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. In another bowl,

  29. blend eggs with ricotta cheese.

  36. or until sauce bubbles at edges.

  37. TO FREEZE: Cool for 30 minutes at room temperature. Complete wrapping by

  38. pulling paper up over top of food. Put edges of wrap together and fold

  39. several times so paper lies directly on top of food. Fold ends of freezer

  40. wrap over the top and seal with freezer tape. Label with name of food, date

  41. of freezing, and last date the food should be used for best eating quality

  42. (about 6 months). Freeze for 10-12 hours before removing packages from the

  43. pans.

  44. TO HEAT FROZEN LASAGNA: Preheat oven to 400 F. (hot). Remove freezer

  45. wrap. Place food in baking pan. Bake 1 1/4 hours or until sauce bubbles at

  46. edges and center is hot.
