  1. 2 Ripe avocados - halved and 1 Onion - finely chopped (small)

  2. 2 tablespoons 30ml Fresh lime or lemon juice

  3. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Tabasco pepper sauce

  4. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  1. With a spoon scoop the avocados into a medium bowl and mash them with a fork. Add the onion, lime or lemon juice, Tabasco sauce and salt; blend gently but thoroughly.

  2. Cover and refrigerate for no more than an hour or so before serving. Serve with tortilla chips or crudites.

  3. Lagniappe - Combine 1 cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon ketchup, and 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce and blend well for a perky crudites dip.
