  1. 1 1/2 lbs 681g / 24oz Loaf:

  2. 1 1/4 cups 296ml Water

  3. 1 tablespoon 15ml Shortening

  4. 1 tablespoon 15ml Sugar

  5. 1 1/4 teaspoons 6 1/3ml Salt

  6. 3 1/2 cups 218g / 7.7oz White flour

  7. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Yeast

  1. Here my favorite French Bread Recipe that came with my Black and Decker All-In-One Plus Automatic Breadmaker

  2. measure ingredients into baking pan 2. insert baking pan securely into unit, close lid 3. select appropriat bread setting (on mine it is setting 6) 4. push start makes 1 large loaf

  3. note: I use Fleischmann's breadmachine yeast and haven't had any problems
