  1. 4 cups navy beans

  2. 1/2 lb salt pork or bacon, cut into small pieces

  3. 4 tsp. salt

  4. 4 tbsp. molasses

  5. 6 tsp. prepared mustard

  6. 1 1/2 cups catsup

  7. 8 tbsp. brown sugar

  8. 2 cups onion chopped finely

  9. 45 minutes. Drain beans saving the water. Add all the rest of the ingredients to beans and 2 cups of the bean liquid. Mix well. Pack into jars within

  10. 1 inch of the top. Put on the seal and screw band fingertip tight!

  11. Yields : 8 pints

  12. Process in a PRESSURE CANNER under 10 lbs of pressure

  13. 75 minutes and QUARTS: for 90 minutes
