  1. 1 cup butter, softened

  2. 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

  3. 1/4 cup sugar

  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  5. 1 package 3.4 oz instant vanilla pudding mix

  6. 2 eggs

  7. 2 1/4 cups flour

  8. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  9. 2 cups semisweet chocolate

  1. In a large mixing bowl combine butter, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla and pudding mix. Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Combine flour and baking soda and add gradually to pudding mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Use a spoon or a medium scoop to drop heaping teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet or cooking stone. Bake at 375 degrees for 9-12 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Or eat them off the hot pan, I won’t tell.
