  1. 1/4 cup butter , margarine or shortening

  2. 1/2 cup sugar

  3. 1 egg

  4. 1 cup moist mincemeat

  5. 1 1/4 cups sifted flour

  6. 2 tsp baking powder

  1. Cream the butter and gradually add the sugar and continue beating until light and smoooth. Beat in the egg. Stir in the mincemeat. Sift the flour with the baking powder and add to mixture until well blended.

  2. Drop the mixture from a teaspoon about 1-inch apart on greased cookie sheet.

  3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until delicately browned in 400 degree oven.
