  1. 2 tsp low-fat butter

  2. 1/4 cup chopped onions

  3. 2 cups chopped mushrooms (khumbh)

  4. salt and to taste

  5. 1/4 cup low-fat milk (99.7% fat-free)

  1. Heat the butter in a deep non-stick pan, add the onions and mushrooms and sauté on a medium flame for a minute.

  2. Add 3 cups of hot water, mix well and simmer till the mushrooms get cooked. Keep aside to cool.

  3. Blend in a mixer till smooth and transfer to the same pan.

  4. Add the salt, pepper and milk, mix well and bring to boil. Serve hot.
