  1. Cut beef into 3 or 4 chunks. In 3 1/2 to 4-quart slow cooker, mix broth, ginger, garlic, and soy sauce. Place the beef chunks in the mixtures and top with the onion slices. Cover, and cook on low for 8 to 9 hours; or until beef is tender. Once the meat is tender, whisk together the flour and 3/4 cup of the liquid from the slow cooker until smooth. Stir mixture into the slow cooker. Cook uncovered for an additional 30 to 40 minutes on high; or until sauce thinkens. Cut meat into slices before serving.
