  1. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Crabmeat

  2. 1 Egg - beaten

  3. 1/4 Finely chopped green - pepper

  4. 1 White bread - cubed

  5. 1 teaspoon 5ml Worcestershire sauce

  6. 1 teaspoon 5ml Prepared mustard

  7. 1 teaspoon 5ml Lemon juice

  8. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Salt

  9. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Pepper - fat or oil for frying

  1. Remove cartilage from crabmeat.

  2. In a large bowl, mix well all ingredients except crabmeat and oil, then gently fold in crabmeat. Form into six cakes.

  3. Fry in just enough oil to prevent sticking until brown.
