  1. 1 c Brown Sugar

  2. 1/4 c Butter, Melted

  3. 1/2 c Sour Milk

  4. 2 c Flour

  5. 1 Egg, Well Beaten

  6. 2 ts Ginger

  7. 1/2 ts Salt

  8. 1/2 ts Soda

  1. Mix the butter and sugar together and add the egg. Sift the dry ingredients together and add alternately with the milk. Beat vigorously for 2 minutes.

  2. Pour into a shallow, buttered baking and bake at 350?r 30 minutes.
