  1. 1 Cup Butter

  2. 1 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed

  3. 2 Eggs

  4. 3 Tbls Whole Milk

  5. 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

  6. 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour

  7. 1/2 tsp Baking Soda

  8. 1/2 tsp Baking Powder

  9. 1/2 tsp Salt

  10. 3 Cups Chocolate Chips or M&Ms

  11. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cream together the butter, sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla in a mixer bowl. Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in another container. Add to the butter mixture and blend well. Stir in the chocolate chips (or M&Ms) carefully so as not to break them. Cover the bowl and refrigerate overnight. Scoop out the dough by teaspoonfuls and drop on an ungreased cookie sheet, 1 inch apart. Bake until browned (about 8 minutes). Cool slightly then remove onto a rack to cool completely.
